A little time goes a long way. In-Studio Commissions are best planned at least 2-3 weeks in advance, while On-Site events typically require 1-2 months depending on the size and scope. Based in NYC and available for travel for select events and projects.
If your timeline falls out of these windows, you’re still welcome to reach out. Requests may be accommodated based on availability.

Hi, I’m Yanelly, the calligrapher and artist behind YQ Design Studio.
My relationship with lettering began at home, learning penmanship from my dad. What started with handwriting grew into a love for modern calligraphy and, eventually, years of creating personal commissions for the people around me.
YQ Design Studio grew from a desire to share that work more openly and connect with people through something I’ve always loved creating. To me, personalization is about more than adding a name or date to something. It’s about understanding who or what a piece is for and creating a detail that makes someone feel seen, thought of, and considered.
That connection is just as important to me as the finished piece. Whether I’m creating something quietly from my studio or personalizing something at a live event, I hope that the care behind it can be felt by the person receiving it.
At its heart, YQ Design Studio is about creating with people in mind and making the details feel personal.
